Ingredients

  • 1 bag hash browns, thawed

  • 16 oz sour cream

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 10 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp minced onion

  • Salt, to taste

  • Pepper, to taste

  • 2+ cups shredded sharp cheddar

Directions

  • Thaw hash browns on counter for at least one hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, stir together hash browns, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup.
  • Add butter, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix to coat.
  • Stir in shredded cheese.
  • Add to 9×13 pan and bake for 40-50 minutes (until golden brown).
